FOR EYELINER
-
Do not wear contact lenses during the procedure or for 24 hours after.

FOR LIPS
-
Gently exfoliate your lips with a warm wet towel or lip scrub. Afterward, hydrate and soften with moisturiser or lip balm for a few days before the treatment.
-
If you have ever had a cold sore you will need to take an antiviral treatment(aciclovir tablets). GPs usually instruct to begin taking it 3 days prior to procedure
for a 7-10 day course.
-
Even if you have never had a cold sore, 90% of the population have the virus lying dormant. Many factors can TRIGGER (not cause) the virus, permanent makeup is one of them.
-
If you have had any type of lip surgery, consult with the physician about how long you should wait before having a permanent makeup procedure on the lips.
FOR EYEBROWS
-
Please do not tweeze, wax, or dye brows for 2 days prior to treatment

After Care Best Practice
Microblading · Ombre & Powder Brows
Absorb (Day 1)
-
After the procedure, blot the area with a clean cotton pad or kitchen towel to absorb excess lymph fluid.
-
Do this every 30 mins to 1 hour until the oozing has stopped.
-
Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymphatic fluids
Wash (Days 1-7)
-
Wash daily to remove bacteria, build up of product and oils & dead skin. (Don't worry, THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE PIGMENT!)
-
Gently wash the area daily for only 10 seconds with an unscented cleanser like Dial Soap, Cetaphil, or baby shampoo. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the area. Rinse with water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away.
-
To dry, gently pat with clean kitchen towel. DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or exfoliants.
Moisturise and hydrate (Days 1-7)
-
Apply a tiny, rice grain amount of the provided after care balm 3 times a day with a clean cotton bud and carefully spread it across the treated area.
-
Be sure to apply a thin layer so as not to suffocate your skin and delay healing. Once applied softly blot again, the product should be barely noticeable on the skin.
-
NEVER put the product on a wet or damp tattoo.
Important Reminders
-
Use a fresh pillowcase while you sleep.
-
Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of colour.
-
No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.
-
Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for one week.
-
Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors.
-
Avoid long, hot showers for the first 10 days.
-
Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days.
-
Avoid face-down swimming, lakes, and hot tubs for the first 10 days,
-
Avoid topical makeup and sunscreen on the area.
-
DO NOT rub, pick, or scratch the treated area.
Eyeliner
Simply use a clean cotton bud with the healing balm provided to cleanse & moisturise your new eyeliner. I will discuss with you how frequently to perform this based on individual factors.
Lips
Keep lips clean & hydrated, a simple cleanse & moisturise routine will be discussed to follow after eating. Apply the moisturising healing balm frequently to prevent drying.
Please note all treatments are A TWO STAGE PROCEDURE. Your procedure is not deemed complete until you have had both treatments & we have assessed the results. Your second visit should follow within 6-12 weeks, any second treatments requested after this time will be charged as a colour boost.
